President Obama doesn't usually slow jam the news, but when he does, boy is it good. President Barack Obama was on Tuesday night's episode of "Late Night With Jimmy Fallon" and rather than doing his usual sit-down-and-talk-about-politics schtick, he tried something a little different.

A recurring segment on Fallon's late show is "slow jamming the news" -- but this time, Obama joined in on the fun. He used the segment to talk -- er, we mean "slow jam" -- about student loans. And though he may sound a bit too academic doing it, Obama was complemented by Fallon's smooth "ohhhhh yeahhhh's," making the segment both hilarious and educational. Well, at least we think so. Watch the clip below and let us know: do you think President Obama "slow jamming the news" is awesome -- or inappropriate?

Why would Romney go on a show that has so few viewers? The only people that watch Fallon are the ones that change channel from MSNBC when they start infomercials late night.

There doesn't seem to be break in the law as long as:
1) The other candidates were not refused an equal opportunity to come on Jimmy's show, and
2) There is no finalized "other candidate" yet. (Ron Paul hasn't given up, and Romney still doesn't have quite enough delegates to be named as the official candidate)

I disagree.

Several different campaign laws were violated: Equal Time, Donation Limits, Undeclared In-kind Donations.

You address only equal time; and err there in that all nominees, not just the Republican must be offered equal time. Many of the alternative parties have already picked or have their candidate unoposed in their primaries.

You are welcome to try to find another candidate giving a full campaign speech on unpaid airtime on a national TV show, you will not find one because only Obama with his complicit media has been offered both the opportunity and cover.

The media companies involved would to be legal have to offer or publish the same chance to all other candidates.

Even given that hypothetical offer from the media companies involved, Obama has and any candidate accepting would be violating laws on campaign donation limits. In addition Obama has violated donation reporting law by not declaring the Fallon appearance as an in-kind campaign donation.

The only people who call the President a "messiah" are the Right wingers who pathetically try to tear him down because the average American LIKES having a President who actually gives a damn about their needs and actually tries (and usually succeeds) to do something to improve their lives. The President's supporters aren't blind at all. They like what they see and they want this country to continue the progress we have made over the last three years. Those who want to throw that progress out the window and return to the failed policies that caused the economic crisis in the first place are the blind ones.

Promising uniformity of result by regulating and punishing success and exceptionalism. "Everyone should have a college education" then they can all vote present like him. Notice we don't see him forking out the cash to send anyone else's kids to the same school that his attend. Why?

He confirmed it AGAIN......NOT a statesman, NOT presidential. What an embarrassment to this country. Three years of seeing this guy on tv every single damn day is nauseating enough but to stoop to this level to get the college vote instead of working with colleges (and teacher unions) to lower tuition would be a better use of his time and my tax dollars.
