Hypothetical situation: you're a kid and your mom has just discovered that you've demolished the house with a huge bag of flour. Does she a) make a YouTube video of her reaction, b) scream at the top of her lungs until the neighbors show up or c) send you to your room and ground you for eternity?
Most people would typically respond with either a B or C -- but one mother decided to go with an A, which has the whole World Wide Web raising its eyebrows.
As of yesterday, there's been a YouTube video circulating around the web of a mother who's (allegedly) just discovered that her two little boys have trashed the house with a 5lb bag of flour.
And just as quickly, there's been speculation that the video is a fraud because the mom's reaction is simply too mild-mannered for someone who's just come to the realization that her house is a big fat mess because of her two boys, who don't seem to be too worried about the repercussions of what they just did. (Any little kid who's ruined anything in their house will tell you that there will be a crazy time-out session, if not a spanking.)
What do you have to say about the video? Is it a real reaction -- or an absolute fake?

All American 2011/11/22 22:57:54Fake+9The flour on the pictures, window sills and on top of the TV convinced me. I guess mom has a whole lot of time on her hands, she's gonna need it to clean up HER mess.

Plus, have you ever seen a toddler eat? I think they could have easily made that mess if they had enough time....
1. There is only one bag of flour in their hands that supposedly covered the entire house and themselves
2. The mother would be a hell more pissed then just :O
3. It is in high places that the babies don't seem to be able to reach, like it's on the shelves over the couch and stuff like that i dont see how the babies could have gotten up there.
4. I dont see how they could have done that in minutes either...
5. Next time close ur baby gate.........
She could not script sons this young to make such genuine statements.
A lot of folks are able to remain calm. They hire such individuals to work in plants where they are the only one in charge on weekends or holidays. I did such work.
She is letting her sons enjoy their 'moment' before she gets out the shop vac. One thing she should have worried about is flour dust is explosive. But a lot of people do not know any kind of dust that can burn, can get explosive. It may not kill, but with little kids, I dunno, such little lungs, and it certainly would bust out all the windows if somebody struck a match...if dust was in the air.
And if you ask how it got on top of the TV or shelf? Don't you know - kids THROW the bag around? Anyway, the TODAY Show believed her enough to invite her and her sons in for an interview. At least she got a trip out of it. I'd give her the benefit of the doubt.
My girls did that with a bag of sugar. I laughed. Broomed up as much as I could and used up 3 bags in the vacuum cleaner on the rest. According to them, the sugar bowl was empty so they were going to fill it and dropped 25 pounds of sugar off the shelf.
Kind of weird how it went from a pile on the kitchen floor, up and down the hallway, and in to the bathroom lmao
I have an autistic sister living with me, now in her 50's...and when I was growing up, she loved to throw water on the cat, and all over the back kitchen porch. KP usually involved a lot of mopping up, on a weekly basis. She also threw food as a preschooler when done, and because she had a strong arm...it sometimes stuck on the wall.
Kids can be a lot more precocious than folks give them credit.
Because of my experiences, plus babysitting - I say YES, the film is real. Why not?
