it depends. somegames like fallout or terraria can be great fun because theres always something different about it. but a game like halo or call of duty is the same everytime, nothing new. it dpends on the game you're playing

I remember "Pong." Played pac-man in the tav now and then as an alternative to pool. I never got into games for whatever reasons...And never bought video games for my kids. I think there are better ways to waste time.

video games are such a good way to past the time and a good way to spend time talking to your mates if you cant go to them in person. Also a good way to release some stress and also don't forget all the banter. Such a good way to meet new people and to annoy people as well.

It only gets boring if the game gets too easy, or is just way too hard (Dark Souls, that game will drive anyone insane :o )
Overall, RPGs never get boring for me. But linear games that end too quickly are the ones that are boring.

Depends on the game and your gamer skill level. Some games are boring because they are too hard for the player's abilities. Some games just aren't everyone cup of tea. Video games aren't for everyone but I garantee that there's a game out there that every person would enjoy if only they found that game for themselves.

Just can't see the point of it all ...
I can remember my children (As teens) when they finally got a video game system as gifts .. they played with the game for about 24 hrs .. went through all the levels .. and then dropped it like a hot potato ..

Do you also want to read a book again, after finishing it?
No, you have to wait some month, than you want to reading it again (only when the book is good).
Games are just entertainments!!
It also don't make sense to watch a film, but it is fun!!

SOME books .. yes, I do re-read again (in fact, I've got a massive library)
I've also got classical movies that I've listened to over and over again (a core group) ..
It just always mystified me when my children would be all gung-ho about a specific game, play it for 24 hrs .. and then never play it again ...

I do NOT go to the Theaters (Too expensive .. just purchase DVDs I wish to hear) ..
There's many I've seen two times or more .. (all these are in my base collection ..)
Books that I've read multiple times .. those are in my collections ..
(but it is cheaper for me to purchase a DVD than go to a theater .. so that makes the decision far easier for me)

I just don't see the reason to spend $50-$60 or more .. and only play through once ..
(THAT is an obscene waste of hard-earned income ... )

But then again .. that's just me ...
