How many times have Vampires been introduced into games, movies, and books over Zombies? How many times have you seen an entire planet of Vampires uniting as one to take down the living?
Let's create a fight situation. All that is left on the entire planet is Vampires and Zombies.
Vampire's main attack: Sucking blood.
Zombie's main attack: Eating flesh, particularly favoring the brain.
Vampire's secondary attack: Strong physical attacks.
Zombie's secondary attack: Swarming.
Vampires create groups. These groups tend to war more often than not.
Zombies work in hordes. They don't care who they are with.
Vampires must drink blood to survive or otherwise consume resources.

Zombies don't need anything to survive but enjoy eating flesh of any kind. They are constantly active, never sleeping or taking breaks and they always work together, mostly because they can't even tell the others exist when living flesh is near.
The only advantage the Vampires have over the Zombies is their intelligence, and that isn't much of an advantage when every time a Vampire is killed they become a new Zombie.
Let's face it, Zombies would win, hands down. It might take a while, but it will happen. The only chance Vampires would have is if they managed to escape from the Zombies, leaving them alone on the planet with nothing to eat. And even then they wouldn't have won, they would have forfeited.
