With Valentine's day nearing I realize that my husband and I are still on our amazing honey moon going on nine years later. You see we got married and moved to the state for lovers, VA, immediately following. That was our honeymoon and we are still here! Cool. LOL

On our first year anniversary we had our mini honey moon to Hawaii for a week. Kona is amazing! I hope to go back sometime soon.

What are your thoughts on Valentines day? Hopefully something good.

I'm pretty much neutral on Valentines. Perhaps if I had a significant other person then it would be a nice time, but... I don't, currently.

I haven't ever been into it, but feel people should treat each other like it's Valentines day everyday, and not wait once a year.

I love Valentine's Day. No offense to anyone but some of the dudes are jerks so they break up with their gf before nd try to get bakk wit thm afterwards so they dnt hve to get thm a gift nd mke thm feel special. Well some do that for their bdays too.

I'm just not a romantic person and unfortunately I've been married to men who were.I always tended to offend them by not being more appreciative of the IMO over the top romantic gestures.I like simple,natural things not provoked by a certain day of the year but by the pure desire of being together-basically nothing else is necessary than someone who makes me smile..stirs me...everyday.

I have a good valentine story..but I think Valentine's Day is just another day to make people feel they have to go out and spend money they may or may not have. So on Valentine's Day 1996 I went to a double wedding of some friends. My then SO called and asked if I would ride with him that afternoon..So I meet up with him, he takes me to the Holiday Inn where we met and he asked me to marry him. Sweet day that I will never forget and because of that Valentine's day is very special to me..cuz just like you Jack's Pearl, going on 16 years later we are still on our honeymoon too!

I dislike Valentine's Day. I feel that it is a Hallmark holiday and puts a ton of pressure on couples.

I'd rather my husband tell me he love me everyday, and do something just because rather than because it is a "holiday".
