Update: Sweetheart Back-Door ObamaCare Union Deal: Vote Imminent

There's not a moment to lose. Final votes on ObamaCare can happen at any time.

According to The Hill: "Democrats are 'close' enough to an agreement... that they're shooting for sending language to congressional number-crunchers on Friday."

In plain English that means that the last significant hurdle will be out of the way, possibly by the time you read this urgent appeal, and (if the past is any indication of what the future holds) Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid will move quickly to put ObamaCare on the floor of the House and Senate respectively, for final passage.

And what closed-door agreements have the Democrats reached?

The Hill again: "Rangel, who's been involved in bicameral discussions led by President Barack Obama, would not say what tax structure had been agreed upon...."

However, we do know that one of those closed-door agreements involves a huge pay-off to Big-Labor. According to the Las Vegas Sun, union employees "with collectively bargained contracts... would be exempt... until January 1, 2018."

This latest stinking deal raises two questions:

If ObamaCare is so great, why should we all be forced into it while Big-Labor gets an exemption and;

Why did Big-Labor get a seat at the table at these closed-door negotiations in the first place... while the American people were shut out? Is Big-Labor now the 4th branch of government?

The Las Vegas Sun may have answered those questions:

"The union leaders pledged to support the health care bill if the agreement holds and said it will rejuvenate labor support for Democrats heading into the 2010 elections."

We can stop ObamaCare. Contrary to what you've been hearing from the liberal media, it's not a done deal. But we must act now because final votes may be days away.

Obama, Reid and Pelosi: No Transparency... Just Secrecy....

Why are powerful leftists operating totally in secret?

In other words, after days of spewing laughable tales of how “open and transparent” the legislative process on health care has been, Speaker Pelosi decided to be “open and transparent” about how non-transparently Congressional Democrats plan to move forward in their efforts to pass ObamaCare.

Remember, it was Pelosi who has stated that she will do “whatever it takes” to pass ObamaCare.

You already know about the bribes – the “Louisiana Purchase,” the “Cornhusker Kickback,” the 100 million in taxpayer dollars for Senator Chris Dodd’s hospital, the Medicare Advantage benefits for seniors that Florida Senator Bill Nelson got mostly for just three Florida counties (what about seniors in the rest of the state and the country who stand to lose their benefits under ObamaCare?), and so on... and so on....

You already know about Pelosi and Reid’s false promises about “presiding over the most open, honest and ethical Congress in history.”

It’s no wonder that nearly 60% of the American people do not approve of the way that Obama is handling the health care issue, according to the most recent Gallup poll. Even CNN recently reported that the news for Obama is even worse. The headline reads: “CNN Poll: 61% of Americans oppose Senate Health Care Bill.”

Perhaps the only ones who still support ObamaCare are Obama, Pelosi, Reid and those fanatical leftists who probably received Che Guevara tee-shirts for Christmas.

Life, Liberty And The Pursuit Of Happiness Are Not Inalienable Rights Under ObamaCare.

Why are Americans – especially seniors – so deeply opposed to ObamaCare?

Our basic rights are expiring at the hands of radicals behind the closed doors of Congress... and the funeral won’t be televised on C-SPAN, as Obama promised the American people on at least eight separate occasions.

It’s our moral obligation to stop ObamaCare, to do our best to drive a stake through its heart. We have an obligation to stand up for America... and keep the principles on which it was founded alive.
