How do you get a wound to heal that is the size of a quarter but everytime it gets a scab and heals over a little I end up scratching the skin off again. What should I do to stop this?
You!

You have to keep it covered with bacitracin or something similar and keep it covered change the bandage once a day at least. Won't itch as much if the wound is moist.

True thanks and the healing process has been really slow I still have it and another one besides it now and they are taking forever to heal. I think I posted this in March so yeah long time.

Take an adhesive bandage and a telfa pad and cover it. Touch it only to change the bandage when it gets wet and keep your fingers off it. You have no idea how prevalent MRSA (Methycilin Resistant Staph Aureus) is and how devastating it can be,
