Been to Hamamatsu, been to a little tiny town called Shimoda. That is the one I liked the most as it is on the sea and most of the people there are sea fearing people mostly shrimpers.Would be well worth the trip to Japan to see other plces other then the normal tourist attractions. I just wish I knew more about their culture then I do...You will be surprised at the number of places you can go to when your in the military and stationed overseas.... I have to find those pictures and scan them and show them....
Where in Canada are you located if I may be so bold. I have a sister living in Glencoe, I lived in Sandwich outside of Windsor and went to school in London. Have family all over in BC, PEI, hell I even have them in the Yukon.
I wouldn't mind visiting it though. Its one of the places I'd like to travel to. My boyfriend has studied abroad a couple times now in Japan since he majored in Japanese and I probably wouldn't say its out of the question that he and I would visit it together someday.
Japan is a beautiful country and unlike here in this country they are respectful of others and are extremely polite. I would not like to LIVE there but it is a beautiful place to visit...I have some pictures of when I was there...they are old and not yet scanned into the puter. Will have to take time and put them in my puter for all to see.
Interesting! The last time I was there was in 2009. I would live there. I like experiencing life outside of the U.S., great cultural and linguistic opportunities. I am contemplating teaching English in Asian for a year or so. As for the pics, yes that would be very nice of you to share with us. :) Thank you!
And u will see my japanese story
*raises hand*
There's more to Japan than Tokyo and Osaka, you guys. :P
