    Sodahead's Boring.

    Undecided

It's not good. The character's lack depth.

    The plot is nearly non-existent.

Everyone in there is a Mary-Sue.

Stephenie Meyer is a thesaurus raper.

    It doesn't read properly.

For a book to be about 'a forbidden love between a vampire and a human', you have to have vampires in it.

    ENORMOUS plot holes.

It doesn't read right... I mean seriously, you take any girl, no matter how well read... you're not going to her 'incandescent skin' or 'scintillating arms', or whatever shit she came up with.

That is not quality literature. I don't care what you say.

    There's no character development. Anywhere.

    It promotes emotional abuse.

    It's both anti-feminist and sexist.

The only place there's depth in the entire series is when she's in the ocean... and the ocean is the depth.

She can't even name her creatures correctly.

The movie wasn't casted correctly... at all.

The actors that they DID cast here horrible.

The were stiff, unemotional, and didn't look like they were interested at all.

    The makeup was horrible.

The setting was nothing like it was supposed to be.

    "Spider monkey"? REALLY?

I've seen better special effects on Youtube videos.

The sound effects were laughable at best.

....and yet you still find people obsessing over it, talking about it 24/7

i dont see the big deal

I don't see the big deal. I've never said I hated it. But I hate how people are saying they hate it. It's a fucking book. Get the hell over it. You hate it or you love it, what the fuck. Some people need to stop whining over how amazing it is, and others need to stop whining about how much it sucks.

    i love it.

I have not seen the movie yet but have read the books. I am waiting to finish the last book before watching the movie.
I love the book because it is every girls fantasy to have a rich, gorgeous guy fall head over hills in love with. I will spend the rest of my life looking for that guy. So will everyone else. It is nice to dream every once in a while.

    i love it.

I love the book and the movie is a reasonable adaptation of this book. The reason the book is so appealing to me is the ongoing angst that Bella experiences throughout. Much of this can be applied to real life experiences in a teenagers life. The decisions that must be made: who to hang out with? how can I talk to my parents? should I go to the prom? who shall I ask to the prom, if I do decide to go? Most compelling is the deep and inexplicable love that Bella has for Edward. How many teenage girls and boys are faced with the same dilemma. For example: how can you possibly think about going out with THAT person? The criticism of others for what you do. Bella is courageous, in that she follows her heart to the total exclusion of her peers and her parents. So many teenagers just want to be accepted and by wanting this they succumb to their peer pressure. So, this story addresses how to deal with many different issues, but, primarily about who to love.

The biggest dissappointment for me when seeing the movie, is that the deep love that Bella and Edward have does not seem to be as intense as the book portrays. Bella(Stewart) will need to get in first gear to portray her feelings in "New Moon". Edward(Pattinson) did a fairly decent job and portraying the constant turmoi...'

Bella(Stewart) will need to get in first gear to portray her feelings in "New Moon". Edward(Pattinson) did a fairly decent job and portraying the constant turmoil and conflict betweeen wanting Bella's bllood or to love her. I was not happy about the first 475 pages of New Moon because Edward, although alluded to, is not present. Not sure I want to read #3.
