It depends on the person, the personality of the individual and if it would suit their facial structure . I would say for the majority of people it is unattractive. People who play into fads or do it for attention are the stupid ones. If you can go about it with class and confidence it and hold yourself well you can pull off just about anything.
I have 3 facial piercings : double nostril rings on one side of my nose and a centered lip ring (labret) piercing. I have a full time job in marketing and had many job offers and i went into all my interviews with colourful hair and piercings. All were positions that dealt with people face to face (and an older demographic). Most of the people I have worked for and customers appreciate my style and respect that I am a bit funky.
I don't think my piercings add or take away from my appearance. I have them because I like them and that is what matters. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion and if they do not like piercings that is perfectly fine. I also think that if someone is not going to hire you or be your friend because you choose to look different that it is awfully shallow. Your personality and abilities should always come first, looks second. It's about choices: people can mod thier body if they choose to much like people can not mod their body if they choose to. It's about respecting differences.
With every piercing there are those who will look horrible with it, those who look ok with it and some who look exceptional with it. If that is what you choose, who am I to judge?
Most of the people that choose to mutilate themselves as a way to get attention need serious psychological help their choice of making themselves look like freaks just to get noticed is just sick!
I was a bouncer / crowd control specialist (lol) for 18+ years..... and these individuals are the ultimate recipe for hamburger..... the super stupid part is that they are not typically "peace loving individuals".... so sooner or later, major surgery and repair will be necessary.... no accounting for stupid people.
It is OK if you are under 20, do not plan to look for a regular job soon, be in the armed forces, be a policeman or a firefighter. Ultimately, this expression of rebellion will stand in the way of a decent career or any plans to support a family. Even if you do not have a family to support, who could take you seriously after the age of 30? How many of you with piercings would become a successful rock n roller or a famous tattoo artist? Get real.
Yes, I actually had a wonderful career in four different professions. All successful in their own rights and now I can retire with four wonderful pensions. Thank you for asking. P.S. I had no tattoos or piercing anywhere on my person.
Piercings anywhere provide "catch" points for traumatic lacerations.
I've lost track of how many hours I've spent over the years surgically repairing ripped-up earlobes, nostrils, and lips for victims in motor vehicle accident (MVA) and physical assault cases.
A metallic piercing commonly turns what would have been a contusion or minor laceration into a bloody horror requiring the skills of a plastic surgeon to get decent cosmesis.
You gotta be way to hellangone beyond "dumb" to have these things.
ANY body piercing points to some variety of self-hate at the subconscious level. No way I'm going to deliberately harm my body like that. Not even needles for a tattoo.

The fact that you did not have multiple piercings and tats is the reason for your success.

Maybe everyone could give you a thumbs up.
