  I have the Ruger SR40 and i really enjoy it and unlike the clock humped backstrap you can change it from humped to flat which ever is preferred

  I own a Gock 23 gen 3. Reliable as it can be and with 14 rounds of 40 cal, I feel very confident in my ability to neutralize any threat. Ergonomics can improve significantly, that darn hump in the backstrap makes no sense and the grip texture, even generation 4 texture is not aggressive enough for me. All things considered I love my Gock 23, but it can improve the grip ergonomics and texture before reaching "perfection"

  I shot a CZ in .40 the other day. It reminded me of a Browning Hi-Power. If someone would give me a .40, I wouldn't turn it down, but I've got enough guns I have to chase brass for.
  
  The big thing for me is to be able to consistently pop a 10" pie plate from 25-100 meters with a large bore revolver. The ideal fishing pistol for me would be a a Ruger .454 Alaskan, but I'd prefer a 4" barrel. Hit something with this and it will go down.
