I didn't have the experience as it says above but I did post a question once and I felt I was given a cold response by someone. And what I want to say about that is, there are some situations that cannot be commented on because the person or persons are clueless to another's situation or issue being they don't know that person or their feelings.
But at least I try to put myself in the other's "shoes" to get some idea.
In terms of SH I was thinking of those who get rude telling you what you think about the issue, not even knowing you whatsoever. I guess they have no more to say so they try to turn it on you.
lol....I think most SH's are independent enough to live their own lives....just hope they are open-minded enough to really get something out of being here.
What this really refers to, at least in my mind, are the people who combat you with what they think you believe and how you live your life. It's nuts, especially on line, where you don't know most from atom.
I don't know who you are? LOL I'm not talking about advice. I'm talking about people who don't like something you say but instead of sticking to the topic at hand they tell you what you think and how you live, like they know you, which is nuts. And it's usually not nice.
That is great, one thing can be said about this site there are plenty of experts on all topics of discussion, whether you ask for their opinion or not they most assuredly have a answer.
No, you know the ones who let anger get to them too much so instead of discussing the issue at hand they discuss how they think you are in a rude way. I'm sure you've had it happen being on SH. I'm poking fun hoping that people who do this see it's kind of silly and presumptuous.
I understand what you mean, but in all fairness, when you open up about yourself on a public opinion site, you're pretty much asking people to comment and you're bound to get people who think you need their advice. It comes with the territory.
I'm not thinking of friendly advice. I'm talking about when someone hates your opinion so their defense is to tell you BS about yourself trying to put you down and make you feel guilty for the way you think. They think that's the way to be convincing and have a discussion, when it's really just a game.

elderly .
Unfortunately, I already know real life busybodies that tell me everything to even how I should look....
+++sighs+++
Just ignore them and live your life!
Isn't that laughable...:D
