The only reason why the little girl was so upset over a pop star is because she age-appropriately loves and adores her older sister, who is age-appropriately obsessed with that pop star. This situation may seem harmless, but obsessive and co-dependent personalities such as these are one of the main reasons why adult women are seen as the emotional, weaker sex. We need to teach our daughters to love themselves and be independent, to have more goals in life than getting married like a Disney princess.
