If you count the stairs leading to the house: purple
If you count the stairs to the attic: purple
If it is a typical one story house: there are no stairs ;-)

If it is purple inside and out the steps up to the door are purple and the stairs to the attic, (whether it's a walk-in attic or accessed by a folding ladder) would be, too. Is there something else you aren't telling us?

Basements are also not usually considered as an additional floor in realty. So it could have one.

Now, now, Roy... There were no stairs. Unless there were a few up to the front door (as in the photo above) -- and they'd be purple. :)

If there are stairs - in the case of a balcony or basement, they would also be purple. It depends on what part of the country the house is in as well as some houses are slightly raised to prevent flooding, or for style purposes. The question does not actually give enough data to provide a right or wrong answer.

A lot of one story houses has stairs leading to the door and some have basements so the stairs should be purple if it has any.

Ah but the front door is part of the house and the stairs/steps come up to the house. And the post stated that everything inside and outside the house is purple. LOL! It's all good sweet lady
