There is a spellcheck on SH so why are there so many questions with atrocious spelling?

Spelling sometimes is a potential answerer's only clue to your intelligence and if they think you're stupid as a box of rocks they won't answer you, or they'll be pretty mean.

It shows how lazy people are. Every major browser puts a little red line under misspelled words, but it is obvious that the simple act of right-clicking is too difficult for most people.

Tell me where is spellcheck?????
I'd use it...I use slang at time but there are typos that could be fixed.....I hate it after I post to see a typo.....

Don't know about you, but when I spell something wrong, a red line appears under the misspelling.

I don't need it to begin with, but I didn't realize that Sodahead had spellcheck. I suppose people are either too lazy or too apathetic to worry about spelling.

1. The spellcheck seems to work intermittently on my computer. However I generally have naturally good spelling. It is not a problem for me. I am only offering it as a suggestion. It does not always work. For example I just deliberately typed lskjf and it did not catch it.

2. They are lazy and don't give a crap that the spelling is wrong and ignore the little red lines.

3. They think it is cool to look stupid.

Those are three plausible explanations.

People are focused on points only, so they post as many questions as possible without bothering to take the time to correct spelling.

Yes, and even if SH doesn't have Spellcheck, all browsers do have that option.
