The Right Wing Charity Case George Zimmerman got his bond revoked. What excuses will they make for him now?

moonchild 2012/06/01 19:09:25
Zimmerman is an innocent man and little white lies are excusable, considering the circumstances
I'll keep giving him my money. He deserves my donations more than all those hungry freeloading children out there.
I'm rethinking my opinion of this guy..
Zimmerman is a nut job.

Yep. The judge in the George Zimmerman murder case has revoked his bond. Apparently lying under oath AND purposely handing over an invalid passport while your real one sits in a safety deposit box will send you back to jail, even if you do have the charitable support of American right wingers.

"In the bond revocation motion filed Friday before Circuit Judge
Kenneth Lester Jr., prosecutors allege Zimmerman's wife knew about the
donations he had collected through a PayPal account, but didn't mention
the money at his bond hearing.

Zimmerman's PayPal account collected more than $200,000, his attorney later revealed.

"Defendant
has intentionally deceived the court with the assistance of his wife,
Shelley Zimmerman. During the jail phone calls both of them spoke in
code to hide what they were doing," the motion says, according to the
Sentinel.

The state also argues that Zimmerman has a second passport in addition to the one he surrendered."

His lawyer is trying to try the case in the public media.I would like to see a ban anymore information and let a jury decide the case.

I agree. People are falling for it too... what's funny is they have to realize that the defense isn't going to release anything damaging to their case and the prosecution isn't going to show their hand until they are in the courtroom. The truth will come out. I truly believe Zimmerman is a mental case.

Well, I'm slowly changing my mind about Zimmerman. At first, I was giving him the benefit of the doubt. However, after all this, I'm starting to think he might be guilty and knows he is.

For starters he's a Democrat. Getting bond revoked has nothing to do with guilt or innocence.

Who said it did? It does, however, shed more light on his character and credibility.

The more I hear about this case ,the more I think Zimmerman is guilty. The shooting could have been avoided if he had listened and waited for the police.I think Zimmerman is a liar. And he will end up in prison.

Good they keep this guy collared. He lied about money to pay his bail, and with a passport is a flight risk.

I don't know his political leaning. I do know that the right wing took him under their wing when they realized their precious gun laws might get challenged.

Of course it might just be that they thought the guy was going to be lynched and hell still might be without even one minute in court.

That was my first thought. He's a registered Mexican voter and hard core Obama supporter. I guess Obama did to him what he has done and will do to everyone else. Use them up and spit them out. Funny how only the Conservatives are sticking up for this Liberals rights. O yeah a Mexican Democrat who only us KKK Conservatives defend. Liberals are pathetic.

The issue is did he kill him ,or was it self defense? Until a jury of his peers say otherwise he is innocent until proven guilty, period. So this is not a left right issue.

I think your premise is crap - ever hear of a jury trial, innocent until proven guilty, equal justice.

Sick of left and right crap over things that are neither.

The fact that he deceived the court should not deter from the facts being presented in the case. I don't think it's a right or left issue (although Sharpton and Jackson tried to make it a black/white issue). Zimmerman should receive a fair trial and all the facts should be presented. If he's found guilty then he should serve time. If he's found innocent then he should go free. The problem with the continued sensationalism of the case (including this idiocy by him) is that it is going to make it harder and harder to seat an impartial jury and he could very well walk on that basis.

Trying to make this a right/left issue or a black/white issue is aburd.

This case is very much a left/right because of the nature of the crime and the laws that made it legal for this man to decide to take the law into his own hands.

His core financial support is coming from gun rights activists who sit far right on the political spectrum. The right winged media has been touting this guy as an innocent victim for the past couple of months... and now their innocent gun rights poster boy is showing his true colors. I'd like to see what they're going to come up with in their blind support of this nutjob.

He does deserve, and will get, a fair trial. If he hasn't already ran off with his generous donations and valid passport.

I don't think it is a left/right issue. The case is a legal issue. There are many trying to make it left/right and black/white and I don't agree with them. The law that was passed in Florida is far from a left/right issue as I know many liberals in Florida who have CCW permits and agree with the law. Whether you agree with the law is a personal issue not a left/right.

So his core support is coming from gun rights activist. Your assertation that gun activist sit on the far right is again your opinion and in all reality an incorrect assumption. Again, there are many on the left that support gun ownership and the stand you ground law and well as many other laws that are the same in other states. As for the media. The left wing media touted him as a white person after the shooting. They seemed to forget that that he was Hispanic. The media on both sides are to blame for the sensationalism that is occurring and they should also be held accountable should the trial be dismissed due to the inability to seat an impatial jury. This continued trying of the case in the media (whether it be the left or the right) is destroying the possibility for a fair trial. There has already been a request for change of venue. Where are they going to move the trial to? It has been sensationalized in ...

And again your assertation that he has possibly run off with his donations is nothing more than a personal opinion that has no basis. I like to view the case from the facts rather than letting emotion override those facts as well as common sense.
