THE ONE WORD I WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE MY FEELINGS ABOUT AMERICA'S FUTURE IS...?

Screwed

America has five year olds and movie stars presenting commercial messages as if they were expert. Emotional and unChristian content has stupified, weakened and seperated us. The Snookering of America has really hurt us this time.

I see very little hope of recovery. Before election I believe we will lose our reserve currency status and our dollar will be devalued to pay back debt. Geitner has intimated this already (which is why markets are plummeting). IF this happens, we wil essentially be a 3rd world nation in a heartbeat. If it does not happen, i do not trust one bit this current administration and think they will continue to try to escalate tensions until civil riots break out to the extent they can declare martial law and suspend elections.

I am not pessimistic by nature...i am just objective. I am cognizant of these very real possibilities, and hope they do not come true.

Hopeful.

That seems to be the Welt opinion at least the news I hear from this side of the Atlantic.
