The Most Inappropriate Video Of All Time? 7-year-olds Perform Single Ladies

I have seen some pretty disturbing stuff on the internet, but I have never not wanted to finish watching a whole video. That was until now, I still can't go through watching this whole thing. These young girls (while fantastic dancers) need to ask their parents the definition of "exploitation." Seriously.

Do you think this is an inappropriate dance for a 7-year-old to partake in?
You!

i think it's appropriate. why does children have to be innocent? they have the right to know things as well, it's JUST A DANCE. it's not like girls have to cover themselves up and pretend to be good. their parents think is okay, which means they're open minded people unlike thoes who freaks about wearing too less clothes and dance moves.

i think it's appropriate. why does children have to be innocent? they need to know things, them knowing things doesn't mean they will do bad stuff. their parents even allowed it, which only means they're way more open minded than thoes who think this is unacceptable.

well, i can't watch the video, but idk if i have much opinion about it. I mean, unless they're litterally NAKED (which everyone else seems to say they are), idk if it's REALLY that bad. I mean, they're just trying to be single ladies.... right?? But then again, i can't see the video so i guess i can't really say... lol.

**facepalm** I hope Beyonce says something about this... about how wrong it is...because she, as a grown woman, wore more than that in her HIT music video.

What the hell were they promoting here? This is just completely WRONG on all levels. I am so upset knowing that this generation coming up is what it is. I am 23 years old, and these kids belong to parents older than me. I WOULD NEVER let my daughter look like that. Even the dancing was out of their league. Humping the air. No Suh!!!!

I'm appalled at the people who say "oh stop criticizing and just let the girls just dance" or "if you think those outfits are sexual, then you have a mental problem".

No one is criticizing the girls. Their dance was AMAZING. It's their outfits with which everyone is disgusted. Why? Because the outfits are the same as what strippers would wear. Don't give me any of this "performance outfit" BS. Those little girls would have been just as happy wearing something glittery that covered more of their skin. There is simply NO excuse for dressing up little girls in burlesque outfits. Frankly, if you have to be 18 or over to enter a burlesque club, it seems to me you should be 18 or over to wear the outfit of a burlesque dancer.

Either their cheerleading coach was a moron who thought the parents would think this is cute... or the coach knew that one of the judges was a pedophile. The little girls didn't care... it is an adult that dressed them up like strippers, and it is an adult who exploited them in a sexual manner. I grew up dancing, too, and never wore such a thing. Never thought to, until I was married and performing in the bedroom, if you know what I mean. If adult women want to dress that way, fine. Even if they dress that way in public, I don't care. It's when children are dressed in this manner that I start to take issue.

it's been pulled from there as well
Since I didn't see it all I can do is relate to JonBenét Ramsey and how inappropriately made up I thought she was. The look is asking for trouble! just look what happened to her! who IS the audience for this? I bet they are pedophiles!

Well, there goes my faith in the 2000 generation. Us 90's teens/ young adults need to live forever to keep this riff-raff from coming in.

Stupid YouTube. But I've seen this on the news, and apparently, the parents didn't know that this was going on. So, if that's true, you can't really blame them. You can't blame the kids either, they didn't know it was a bad dance. To be honest, it's the cheer leading coach's fault. They're the ones who picked that dance and those clothes. Actually, I don't mind the dance, though. I think it's fine, but the clothes. It's too... just... Small I guess?
