Oscar Niemeyer is a Brazilian architect specializing in modern architecture. He is responsible for many iconic buildings throughout the world, with a heavy concentration of works in the cities of Brasilia and Sao Paolo.

I'm into it, even if some of it didn't age so well. What do you think?

Niemeyer's work is standing up to the test of time very well. Some of his work is esoteric, but people can still enjoy it without being a student of structural design.

As with any innovator, there is a timeliness and limelessness to his work. The simple lines that attempt to defy gravity were definitely symbolic of he era in which these buildings arose.

I think they are very cool style buildings but he needs to be a little more practical in some of them and use better building materials to make them last longer.
