We all know the feeling: you're mingling at a BBQ and could really use a drink and some snacks... but you only have two hands and don't want to retreat to some dark corner just to get your nom on. Well, this brilliant yet oh-so-simple invention has come to the rescue. The GoPlate allows you to eat and drink at the same time, while also being able to mingle with friends at a social function.

Granted, it only works on bottled beverages for the time being, but c'mon: They're not miracle workers here! Do you think the GoPlate, which will cost you $19, is an awesome invention -- or is it kind of meh for your taste?

So you're at some BBQ or a potluck or whatever kinda functions it is that you people who actually get invited to places go to, and you wait through the line to get your food, pick up a brewski out of the cooler and then you are ready to eat! Except… no hands. Foods in one hand, drink in the other — what’s a person to do? You need a GoPlate.

That's a great idea. But, you can't take a drink till after you're finished. That might cause a problem.

Simple enough device, still a nifty idea. Hopefully they include straws with case orders otherwise they would be back at square one.

Pretty small for BBQ, and doesn't the problem return if you want to drink? Everything just falls off unless you remove the plate, thus filling your other hand once again.

Hardly worth $19 even if you do solve that problem.

Both. It's a good idea, but instead of that ridiculous thing, poke a hole through a paper plate and use that. No need to waste £11 on a piece of plastic...

Can't drink until you unload the plate, but it might make the trip from the barbeque to the picnic table a little less accident prone.

I think it is original; there aren’t any other drink plates (are there?). I don't think it would be much more convenient than a regular plate, since you would have to take it off the bottle to drink.

Very rarely drink something in a bottle..

I'll stick with a picnic table.
If i can't relax and eat,i'll just eat a bag of chips or something,until i can...
