We all know the feeling: you're mingling at a BBQ and could really use a drink and some snacks... but you only have two hands and don't want to retreat to some dark corner just to get your nom on. Well, this brilliant yet oh-so-simple invention has come to the rescue. The GoPlate allows you to eat and drink at the same time, while also being able to mingle with friends at a social function.

Granted, it only works on bottled beverages for the time being, but c'mon: They're not miracle workers here! Do you think the GoPlate, which will cost you $19, is an awesome invention -- or is it kind of meh for your taste?

INCREDIBLETHINGS.COM reports:
So you're at some BBQ or a potluck or whatever kinda functions it is that you people who actually get invited to places go to, and you wait through the line to get your food, pick up a brewski out of the cooler and then you are ready to eat! Except… no hands. Foods in one hand, drink in the other — what’s a person to do? You need a GoPlate.

You take the plate off the bottle, have a sip or so of your drink then sit the plate back on the bottle; what's the problem123 done.

Without a straw it is going to dump all your food when you take s sip of the beverage. Hasn't anyone else noticed?

lol, that's why you take your plate off of the drink and hold your plate in the other hand.

When you're not having a sip, you've got a hand free. Most of the time, you're walking around at a BBQ and you've got a drink in one hand and a plate in the other, and often space to put things down if you need that free hand is at a premium.

if there are no chairs or tables around for you to sit your drink down I guess..or if you like to stand up and eat, idk :-) I remember there have been times when I could have used one of them though.

So, at your BBQ, which is what this plate was designed for, (note, it's Plastic), not many are drinking wine or cocktail....it is designed to fit a beer bottle, so now.....go out and invent something to go around your wine glass....
