No one KNEW a when a Soldier came home on the MERCY Flight, regardless what time of the day or night, President Bush would be there! He would NOT allow cameras!
The PHONY we have now promotes the pictures of his being there!
Real Men don't flaunt their love of country or fallen soldiers! :(

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A LEADER AND A SPINELESS WANNABEE
There's a group of ladies in the Dallas area who make and stuff neck pillows for soldiers coming through Dallas Fort Worth airport. They go to the airport and meet the incoming planes every week and greet the soldiers coming back for a few weeks R&R;, give them a pillow, tell them they pray for them, and thank them for their service. The lady who took the pictures said everyone was so surprised to see George and Laura Bush recently just standing quietly in the waiting area with others who come to meet the troop planes. She said it was amazing to watch the faces of the soldiers light up in recognition when they spotted them and that many came over to speak and shake hands.

He does it because he is a patriotic American and truly respects their service.

run along drone, your stupidity is lowering my IQ.
To many of us take their loss for granted and to few of us make an effort to support them.
Stand by our Military, they are serving you !!!!!
Well, I guess showing up at an airport is more than he did when he was (supposedly) serving our country himself in the ANG.
Bush hasn't sent anyone anywhere since January, 2009. Your claim as to falsifying evidence and twisting facts shows how short your memory is. Clinton essentially made the same claims. As to denigrating Bush's service in the Air National Guard, I'm curious as to exactly when and where you served.
Bush started the wars. Hasn't sent anyone anywhere since 2009? Great. How about the previous 8 years? Clinton? How many troops did he send to Iraq? How many civilians did he kill?
Yes, once again America's youth paid the price for somebody else's freedom, just like WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Panama, and Grenada. Iraq's a free country today; what they do with it is up to them. Seems a little more impressive than blowing up aspirin factories, empty tents, and allowing your Attorney General to cripple the country's intelligence capability leading up to 9/11.
and his lovely wife ;0 )
Bush made mistakes while in office, but he was always honorable.
