The Art Of Making Love...

I 'haz' a ponder:
There are many different terms and euphemisms for sex in the English language, from 'proving your love' to "bumping uglies."

And I think it's safe to say that each phrase has a particular meaning or connotation to most people, but one term in particular seems to evoke more positive responses:
"Making love."

(It even sounds awesome, doesn't it?)
But riddle me this:
Does that term only refer to people who are actually IN love, and their physical act of expression of that deep emotion for each other?

Or, can it also refer to the style in which one engages in sex with his or her partner; implying a level of tenderness, sensuality and intimacy that tends to be absent in mere screwing around?

What say ye?
But wait;
Before "Ye" says anything, here's the usual Melizmatic disclaimer.
See this post?
It's listed under Fun and Humor, not News and Politics, for a good reason.
Check all political and religious rhetoric at the door, please; there's a whole entire section for those discussions.
Next, this post is also NOT labeled "An excuse to sit in judgement on others for their sexuality, and/or sexual choices."

So for all the abstinent folks, the virgins, the uninitiated, and the asexual people out there: Good for you, for whatever choices you've decided to make for yourself.
However, those choices do NOT make you superior to anyone else, and acting like it does will get you booted off my poll, post haste.
Hope that's clear enough for everyone.
Play nice, or else.

Go troll elsewhere.

Check out the Caribbean. :P
USVI.
You are 'down island', I take it?
Grenada?
I guess I am down island, because the only Caribbean countries more south are Trinidad and Guyana.
I've been asked more than once before. Apparently some folks lie about their nationality.
But at the same time, there are people from all over the wolrd conversing here...
I do love chatting with foreigners - and you're one of them. lol
I enjoy conversing with you as well.
Frankly, I have no desire whatsoever to have sex with complete strangers, but then that's just me. Some men can sleep with a different girl each night and never think twice about it. Other men find those types of liaisons awkward and uncomfortable. I'm actually pretty reserved about whom I have sex with, and I really have no interest in being physically intimate with a total stranger or even a casual acquaintance for that matter.
