My son and I used to have three of them: Terrance, Philip, and Cartman. Cartman was such a little sweetheart, unfortunately he died very young. Philip was a mean sumbitch. He ended up dying of heat stroke one summer (the place we were living in didn't have air conditioning.) Terrance was a good and smart rat who loved sweet potatoes and would take sunflower seeds and pumpkin seeds from our hands. Unfortunately he ended up getting tumors on his lungs. We never got any more rats after he passed.reply

I used to have a bearded dragon and had to watch him slowly decline into death because I was trying everything I could to keep him alive. I can't even look at baby bearded dragons without feeling sad, but I won't get another one anytime soon cuz of it. I can't imagine going through the sadness of watching three of my pets die like that.reply
