Teacher's Day...LOL!

School Teachers are the single most underappreciated professions in the world. They are disrespected, dishonored, verbally abused, but yet they still go through it every day and work hard to get through to the children the necessities of education and make learning enjoyable. They also at times have to play referee when students get into fights. I remember when I was a student in school I did my best but got into a lot of trouble because I didn't back down and was a real hothead. When I was in school they could and would paddle students who went too far. In my opinion they should bring that back. I have always had a deep respect for teachers for all they do and for all they have done that made a difference in my life. Even when I was the student getting paddled I still respected them. Sometimes I gained more respect for them because they did use a paddle on me for my actions.

I always had more respect for some than others...those that I respected shined!

That is so true there were some teachers who respect from me was earned and I did more for those teachers than other teachers

Read your response snglmom and couldn't have said it better. We do however, have some really lazy, stupid teachers.

Truly the intriguing part of this ..
is that the MOVIES are better known to the Kiddies ..
than REAL Skills ..
(such as geography, science, even making change for a dollar)
