Taylor Swift beats John Mayer at his own game. Was it Justice or Just Jerky?

"It made me feel terrible," Mayer, 34, tells Rolling Stone in its latest issue of the "Dear John" song written and performed by another of Mayer's exes, Taylor Swift.
"As a songwriter … I think it's kind of cheap songwriting," he said. "I
know she's the biggest thing in the world, and I'm not trying to sink
anybody's ship, but I think it's abusing your talent to rub your hands
together and go, 'Wait till he gets a load of this!' That's bull--."
Swift, 22, has never confirmed that the song - whose lyrics include,
"Don't you think I was too young to be messed with?" - was about her
brief fling with the rocker, but Mayer seems to think so.
"I didn't deserve it," he tells the magazine. "I'm pretty good at
taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that. It
was a really lousy thing for her to do."

Taylor's song never mentioned him by name or career or anything else. "Dear John" is a letter every member of the Armed Forces dreads, but it happens anyway. It's a very sad and hurtful time and her song felt as someone would who had been hurt and was saddened.
Maybe she did mean him - but then it could have been a guilty conscious.
Meyer, after all of your ungentlemanly actions, this doesn't compare to what you've done in the past. It's probably too late, but since made you "feel terrible", maybe you'll think about the other person before you start crying and let out embarrassing, intimate information.
Remember, what goes around, comes around. If this is the worst that comes back to you after all of the "stuff" you've done, say a prayer of thanks for this little hint.
So everyone knows "My" feelings - I have been very careful to put my disregard for you and your "feelings" in words a gentleman would not be ashamed of later.
Second, he's said much worse directly. Taylor (as far as I know) never confirmed this was about him. I'm sure she was not thinking, "Wait till he gets a load of this!" but was just working out her feelings. Song writting is often a type of therapy. Really he completely deserves this.

And song writing is a way for her to vent. I don't think she did it for vengeance.
