    I'm going to a state fair tomorrow and am certainly looking forward to it. It's the first fair of the summer that I will be going to, and a friend may be coming along as well. The bigger and more "extreme" the ride, usually the better. Plus you can have cotton candy, funnel cake and all of that other fun fair food.

    Do you live right near where it is held? My best friend lives in the town the county fair is in and she refuses to drive through town that entire week.

    No I live 21 miles from our county fair. I just have never liked going to the fair. I believe the fair stinks.

    There is one in a surrounding town/county every other week now until almost October, wrapping up with the Big E (a ginormous 7 (maybe 1 more/less) state fair up in MA).
