Honda Civic, actually. Every car I've ever owned has been a stick. I learned originally on an automatic, but once I got my own car (at 25) I had my brother teach me how to drive a stick and that's what I got.

If it is a sports car or off the road 4 wheel drive it has to be a stick. If it is a family or luxery car it has to be an automatic.

My favourite was my "BEASTIE." He was a White 2 Door 1986 Mercury Topas GS Sport, 5 Speed & fully loaded! If he needed work done, he let me know on a Friday so I'd have the weekend to fix him. I never got a speeding ticket either. But all things must pass, and he eventually did . . .

If I still had him, I'd try to restore him.

I have a Mustang with a Tremec 5-spd.stick and a Hurst Crown Vic: w/A.O.D. automatic if both cars are home when I go out I usually take the first one sitting the closest so I don't have to walk as far, it seems my past 4-cars were the same way, a Stick and an Automatic... been that way here for years.

That's okay. I was just thinking about all the Americans out of work and how we must support them. Although we have a Chrysler and a BMW so I walk both sides of the fence. In the past, though, I drove almost always American.

I've only owned and will only own an American made car. And it would not be a Camaro! And why not a truck? I have a F-350 P/U and love it.
