It can be done. There are a few cases where the person went into the army and was forced to have the surgery, but I suggest that you don't just go out and do it if you think you might want it reversed one day.

Also the surgery to join the two halves back together is supposed to hurt a lot and be a pain to heal. So I really hope you take your time and think if it's something you REALLY want done.
