    There is so much truth to this. It's human nature to want what we don't have .
    Sometimes it's best to stop throwing your attention around to a person that you like and
    keep your distance. If the person wants you or misses you he will come to you on his own .

    OH yes!! Especially men... the ones who know you like them and just expect you to be fawning over them and flirting with them and don't put much work in themselves... if you suddenly stop giving them attention, oh how it messes with their little heads! Then they come to you! :))

    It may be so in some cases. If you are talking about a love intrest it could back fire on the person who pulls away. So I guess it would depend on the TYPE of attention one is seeking.

    If they didn't want our attention, not giving them any just makes it easier. The best way to get someone's attention is to talk to them. If it means anything, it'll go from there. If it doesn't, no childish mind games will make it happen.
