In five years will it matter?
MySpace is struggling to re-invent itself but a lot accounts have been inactive and not updated for as long as three years. People rarely even answer messages.
SodaHead right now will probably have more customers in five years assuming it isn't squashed by another site like Facebook did MySpace.
Myspace was the first mainstream form of what we now call "social media." It got silly though. Webpages looked like the old self-made websites from the mid 90s, complete with glitter, annoying animated .gifs, and 12 autoplay videos going at once. Had Myspace added a counter and a link to download Netscape, it would have been perfect. Facebook however, is the refined product. Facebook owes it's success to Myspace, but they came out with a better product. Like it or not, they're a media giant now.
I think Sodahead will because well atleast my generation really uses Facebook and Twitter and all the younger kids will use it too and if you have no one to talk to on Myspace then there isn't a reason for more people to make a profile. Sodahead you can ask questions and give opinions and MOST of the time not be judged by others. Unlike Myspace where a lot of people go on there to just talk to friends and gossip which leads to fights and cyberbullying, not that I'm saying that couldn't happen on here but highly unlikely.
its the site that sodahead will pass in customers? maybe......but myspace offers real photos of people, not all this shammy stuff........sodahead is more for the, "duck and run" type folks.
Sodahead is like the old internet (web 1.0). Wild and untamed. I kind of like the "duck and run" nature of it. Nice to have someplace to go off without repercussion. People need to grow some thicker skin... a username and avatar can't hurt you.
