You are not telling the whole story about the Bible! That is wrong!

Those words are in the Bible and you have a reference direct from a Christian website confirming it.

The whole story is that God loves the world so He sent Jesus to die on the cross for our sins.

God sent his son to divide us.

God sent Jesus so that we may be saved.

Not everyone. Just those who do as he commands.

People have to repent of all their sins and accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior to be saved.

So people can kill, as long as they repent and accept Jesus...

What about those who see a difference between murder and self-defence, even though both require you to take a life?

Self defence and defense of one's family and country are okay.

If you have faith in God you are supposed to feel safe in the knowledge that no matter what happens you will go to Heaven, right?

If that's the case, why worry about whether someone is going to kill you?

To kill in self-defence is not showing faith that when you die you'll go to Heaven and be taken care of by God, it shows fear of mortality and the only reason to feel fear is because you don't fully believe or have faith in God and Heaven.

You are wrong! It is not unfaithful to defend yourself! The Bible says to not tempt God!

Accepting your fate as the will of God and having faith that you'll soon be in Heaven is not "tempting God", it's what Christians are told to do. :o)
