I just delete the ones that I think are too silly. I kept getting questions about my sexual habits and if you ask me that is nobodys business. I don't discuss my sexlife. I mean really, why would a complete stranger post their favorite sexual fantasy on line for all the world to see? Only an idiot would do that. Do I believe in Fairies? Do I believe in Dragons? Wow! I actually had to unfriend one such enquiring mind.....they were posting up to 25 different silly questions per day. So yes I am sure that although these types of questions are stupid to me....somebody out there just loves them

Leave the stupid points pandering questions to the people who live or die by their leaderboard standing. I had over 1,400 shared questions when I woke up this morning. I'd say so far 1 out of every 20 I have gone through warranted an answer. The rest was crap. Quality over quantity my friend. And that's the bottom line...cause HendrixFan said so.

Who cares. Sodahead wants more activity but eventually they'll pay a price for this as server costs will start eating into their profits. Everything you post here hits their pocketbook so all the nonsense eventually will take up too much server space and they'll cut back. The biggest sites that I belong to have all done that because server space can be expensive when you get too many members posting too much junk.

So if you wanted to sink SH... that's how you do it because they will reach a point where the members activity exceeds the profit line.

There should be a leader board for the immature because I find that fun at times.....But I am also NOT a surface level thinker.........I can't carry on a simple conversation without turning it into something DEEP.......And people like yourself Rock here on SH allows me dig in deep.........and when that gives me a brain cramp........I turn to one of my many surface level SH friend thinkers and have fun with some silly $HIT...........Rock on........don't ever settle for anything less then what you are.......

Who really cares about the "Leaderboard" and the BS point system?

Just to let you know how meaningless is the point system/Leaderboard BS...I have over 37,000 raves and have given nearly 3,500 answers. I was a level 1 when I returned to SH, 10 days ago, after an extended absence, and am currently 1/2 through level 13. Of course there are people with 3,000+ raves who've given 600+ answers and are a level 12, which proves my point.

If you're on SH to make the Leaderboard then do what it takes to get there. If you're on SH to respectfully share a well informed opinion and engage in intellectual debate, then do what it takes to make a positive contribution to SH.

BTW...If you're 69, why does your profile indicate you're birthday is December 30, 1966 and 44 yrs-old?

What leaderboard? Who looks at that? I don't. I've been on this site for almost 4 years and I have less raves than some people who have been on here 6 months. But who cares? I don't go on here for points or leaderboards. I mostly just enjoy answering questions and giving my opinion. I just posted a bunch of stupid questions about which band is better than the other one, but I just did it because I felt like doing it, not to gain points. But in all the time I've been on here I don't think I have asked 60 questions. But I do know what you mean. There are some one word questions and crap like that. But I just skip by those. Do you get points for simply posting a question, or do you need to get a lot of responses? Because if nobody answers the stupid questions, then what is the point? I do admit it feels good when I get a lot of raves or get top comment on a question, but I don't even look at the leaderboard.

They need to end it all together..I mean all it does is cause a bunch of clutter on my happening and I have to go through all of them..Too many happenings..Don't have time to go through all the question, etc..The leaderboard is corny and some of those so called Gurus don't deserve higher status then Angel, Bessie and some of us Senior members

Here's what you need to do to end the "clutter." Unfriend the friends who create ENDLESS mindless polls and unfriend the friends who forward EVERY poll they answer. You'd be amazed at how it cleans up your "shared questions" tab and makes it possible for you to access interesting/valid polls.
