it was GOOD!! I was so happy to be able to work New Years Eve. It was a quiet night and I actually got to spend it in the same hospital I've worked in for the last 3 years. I wasn't sure I'd be in the same one, but woo hoo, I got to be there. So most of Jan 1 was spent sleeping.. my next favorite thing to do, nobody asked what my first favorite thing to do is, so I'm not tellin.

Difficult. A calf got her neck and left leg caught in a low branch of a tree and did some damage to her neck and leg. Had to spend two days keeping her calm and off the leg while she was in a sling and neck brace.

She's out in the field now, however, still limping but ok.

Actually it was nearly impossible. She wanted to get up and feed every hour so we had to hand bottle feed her and then of course what comes out of the other end had to be dealt with as well. After about 12 hours I was toast so one of the people I have working for me took over and we simply traded off ever 4-6 hours. Yep hard hard days. But I wouldn't trade this life for anything.

It was ok, went to a movie, saw Guilt Trip with Barbara Streisand it was pretty funny. Went to lunch at Red Robin and had a nice juicy burger. That was about it!
