Since when was "My Little Pony" cool?!?

My best friend since 5th grade has recently been sharing music videos on FBook, claiming they will "make your life 20% more awesome!" I decided to check out one of these videos, and it was a song... based off an episode of "My Little Pony." I didn't even bother listening to the song, I just screamed "Dear God! No!!" and exited my browser.

Ever since, I've noticed him and his college buds have all been adding the word "pony" to almost everything they say...
Is my friend and his college friends closet homosexuals, or did I miss the internet meme meeting where it was voted that "My Little Pony" is cool?

If your talking My Little Pony: Friendship is magic, the 4th generation of the brand, The fanbase (males 16-40) like it because of its quality animation, good writing, characters with depth and all around funny moments. Its not really a kids show, more like a family show, one that everyone can like, yet isn't dumbed down and simplified so its just for kids to get. No one bitches about adults watching the old Disney movies. I don't see people complaining about grown ups watching anime.

So no, your friends aren't homosexual (at least, not cause of MLP) They just have good taste. You probably did miss the internet meme meeting. Try this place out. http://bronies.memebase.com/

And I do advise watching the series. If you don't like the intro music, just fast forward through it. The girlishness pretty much ends there. This isn't MLP Generation 1.

My little pony is like power rangers for younger children. They teach lessons about life and offer optimistic opportunities to them, teaching them how to deal with problems and making friends, while giving them hope and making their days worth living.

These little characters do WAY more them provide entertainment lol

its not wrong, its a tv show... i geuss you have never seen twilight, or for that matter, any shows/movies with your girfriend or wife
