Lets face it we live in a PC world and calling huge storms hurricanes
is insulting to women everywhere. It is like saying, "All women are
capable of blowing up and destroying everything around them." In fact
until recently they were all even named after women. (This is in the humor section folks)

Too Much Already! There's not even any root word connection or even 'Spelling' connection to the supposition that women 'should' be, 'have a right' to be, upset about this word. Intent is absent... Hell No, don't change the name! Hurricanes are spelled with a u not an e, and, in my opinion, not being made into a gender. Besides, there is to much of this political correctness going on, why not leave this alone????

I had no clue that the word hurricane is somehow related to women, heheh. Ohhh wait, wait, I get it! HUR = HER..? lol. Well, I've never been offended by the word, so don't worry 'bout it. ;)
