No way. No matter what we did to help stop the slaughter of civilians it would be propagandized on al-jazeera TV.

But get ready for $5+ for a gallon gas.

Not no....but HELL NO! We are having problems at home of our own. Union Bullies attacking women, a n un-susstainble and skyrocketing National Debt, our Soldiers off in two different places already, and from the way things are headed politically, we may have a World-War if tensions keep building. Our Country should never have taken on the role of being the World's Police Force....NEVER!

Why get involved in yet another country's problems? It's not like we are a role model here with our leaders looking out for themselves and not the people. Maybe we should take a page from their book and "demand" our president (if that's what you want to call him) resign.

The 4 Star Generals at the Pentagon should arrest the President and all of his cabinet for allowing this disaster to happen. Its not a military Coup! Its a failed democracy with congress and the President Robbing the nation of Tax Payer dollars by creating the deficit for campaign funds.

Undecided, really, Qaddafi has brought in mercenaries from Chad and Niger, and they are killing people. I don't know if the Egyptians might want to help, the Libyan province which is closest to their country is now apparently free.

USA shouldn't intervene anywhere in the world.... all troops should be on home turf... including those in Europe.... why are we in Europe? Can anyone answer that question?

Close down both conflicts.... get our troops home...just do it!!! bark

p.s. Libya will fall or stand on bloodshed... Gadhafi is absolutely nuts....hey let the UN send troops to Libya...UN did a marvelous job in Serbian conflict... remember?

How about we not hastily jump into another war that we don't belong in just to get stuck doing all the work for the country and jeopardizing our men simultaneously.

We can't afford it and have no business getting ourselves involved in other countries' affairs.
Nor should we have "intervened" in Iraq or Afghanistan; we are not the police force of the world.

Like the last time we intervened in other countries affairs? Maybe Clinton should be more quicker on calling them out but that is it. Not sitting around to play it safe then call them out. Stop reacting to the situation and lead the charge (with words)

Libya is a craphole and a terrorist hotbed. Let them kill each other and let God sort em out for all I care. We would never get anything accomplished there.

This is Libya's affair and should only be dealt with by the people of Libya. Even if it means a lot of blood must be shed to achieve success and only the people of Libya can form a new government that would satisfy them.

The US was born this way and so were many other countries!

If Gaddafi keeps murdering his citizens in such large numbers, someone will have to step in. But I would definitely not support a continued foreign military presence there.

I'm not convinced that will be the case, but you may be right. But even if it is, our track record of occupying sovereign nations just doesn't sit well with me.

Tired of being the world policeman. And, I'm tired of spending billions of dollars to help people and have them hate us for it. And, it's just none of our damn business. We should only jump in when their problems become our problems.
