Should SodaHead Hide all the insults ?

here too many people insult and say so bad words ..so do you think sodahead should hide all the insults here and show it like that ********* ?

I don't want SH or anyone else censoring comments on an opinion site. If someone insults them, they can either ignore them or block them if it's that offensive.

If you can't handle the tough and rough crowd that make up SodaHead then you're too sensitive I suggest a Dr. Phil type of interaction group because they (WE) will let you have it here on SH, and that young lady will be the last clean comment you'll ever get from me on a stupid ass question.

Red, You are 16, You had better learn how to handle insults and worse. The world you are growing into is not the world of your parents or grandparents.. Respect for others and self respect are a rare commodity these days.. Take the slings and arrows for what they are and consider their source, You will find that most are just words from the mouths of the inept

Another option available. Some posters here are more sensitive than others. I will admit that there are some posters here who are beyond merely insulting and who should be dealt with by SH, but that should only happen if there is a complaint lodged against that poster.

I once had a parrot that was extremely profane, but what a talker. I ended up selling him, he would insult anyone who came to the house, and i would be apologising non stop !!

Yes he was, i often threatened him with the oven. He actually had a better vocabulary than many of the folk on SH :)

Yes they can, I quite agree, but red pixy was suggesting that the insults be replaced by ******s. Surely for that to happen, they need to program in a list of profanities for exclusion? That is why I suggested the use of the profanity filter. I cannot see a filtering mechanism that would exclude the words of someone who is just being downright obnoxious but not using particularly foul vocabulary.

I think we're on the same page, but profanities ar dirty words, not necessarily insulting words. Maybe that's why we seem to be a bit off. I think you should just ignore or block someone who you feel is that insulting. Let's face it, on a pubilc opinion site, you're bound to get insulted now and then. If you're that sensitive, maybe you should not be on one.
