Should minors that have kids be required to take parenting classes?

If you're gonna make minors do it then make adults take the classes too. Minors aren't the only ones who can have kids. Plenty of adults birth children and some of those adults shouldn't be having kids. When one has to do it so should the other.

Yes. Minors are kids themselves and they haven't developed their brains fully yet. No way would they be ready to take care of a child without it. They aren't ready PERIOD, especially when they never think about the fact that their child will be their child for LIFE. No child should have a child, especially when the American tax payer has to help pay for the that baby's upkeep. It's expensive, and most of us barely have enough money to keep ourselves going much less pay for these teenagers who pop out kids.
