Even in archaic, male-dominated cultures and societies, this was a pretty strange "rule".

Sometimes, if I didn't make the move, things would get no where.
besides, those that know me, know I don't wait around.

But you have to read the moment though, and some guys can't do that right and it frightens women off. I personally will err on the side of caution, and go with the flow. If it's the right time I'll know it. Thanks My Belle. *S*

There shouldnt be a rule that is attached with the word always specially when it comes to things that can be a sensitive matter like this. It really does depend on the couple and who simply wants to make the first move or not, whatever works for them basically.

nah, not always should the guy have to make "the first move"..... sometimes it could be kinda kewl if the lady does it first to "break the ice" as they say.

I've made the first move and it works well but when a girl does it I'll admit I put a lot more effort into getting to know her and it's always been a better experience to me.

Yeah. I think guys should make the first move, because a woman wouldn't know if he wants her or not.

Well, I'm just saying the first kiss. After that, sure. I mean, there's nothing wrong with a woman kissing him after that.

If you ask me, a lot of women like aggressive men. Of course, if the woman doesn't like him, I guess it could be a real problem. :)

I'ma bud in here real quick... I've heard the whole "women like aggressive men" way too many times. 9 out of 10, the guy saying it was justifying BS behavior. Assertive is not the same as aggressive. The first is sexy the second is creepy.
