Should blocked polls be removed from the hot list?

PLEASE RAVE THIS POST!

The average cons to libs ratio i've seen on sh is about 3 to 1. okay? but look at the lightning reports and demographics and you find polls like this one:

(it doesn't paste well but anyone can see that the con/lib ratio is absurdly biased)

Here you can see that there are a whole THREE liberal votes, vs 93 con cotes. That's more than 30:1. It's bs, and there are lots of them. this is nothing but propaganda and it's on the hot list. these are not OUR opinions. These are only rw opinions. it's not right.

the vote total is 182 to 15.

not even close to reality. not even close to "public opinion" It's garbage.

Should SH support this garbage, or get it off the hot list and put honest polls on the hot list?

Nothing says "biased" like those cute little pink ribbons at the top of many posts. That's not a hot list post and shouldn't be considered one..

I have several AH's that have blocked me. I only blocked one person for trolling me (you should remember that) .

I only do "retaliatory blocks" and this was because I had some other douche unblocking me, commenting on my polls and re-blocking me.

So you think my poll should be removed from the hot list for that?

If people are stupid enough to block me it's their problem not mine they end up on my special list...

And I will unblock them if they publicly apologize.

idk. a few blocks are one thing but... anyway, i find people unblock me from time to time, as i'm surprised to see them answer a poll of mine, and then later i may find myself blocked once again. it doesn't bother me. i just find it curious really.

SH allowing blocking on it's polls makes the polls on here meaningless. If you want to allow posters from commenting on polls then that's fine but they should still have the right to have their vote counted just minus the right to trash talk about why that vote was cast.

Blocked polls should have their own category, since their results are rigged according to which groups of people are being excluded from participating.

At least if they did something like that, they could mark those as such, so there is no confusion about the fact that it was not public opinion. It is odd that someone with a no blocking group seems to be pro blocking, and who has pro obama groups, often posts strange videos and pictures, like this one, that do not appear to be pro obama. it makes one wonder.

i mean... that is obviously not a pro obama picture...

Yes, if you block more than a small number of people, I think your polls should not be promoted.

I do however think that sodahead.com has every right to run their website the way they want.

This site is an opinion site. Open and honest exchange of opinion is what it's allegedly about. I don't see how a question in which the entire SH community cannot participate is a 'hot' poll.

Excellent point. Regardless of which leftwing flavor you prefer, Republican or Demoncrat, blocked polls are a waste of space.
