it's probably awful like most celeb vodkas but I would try it sure.

I seriously doubt Shaq had anything to do with the creation of the distillation other than putting his name on the bottle for a hefty fee.

...the only difference between this and any other vodka is that a rich, retired jock makes a little more money from the sale of THIS vodka...the poison in the bottle is the same crap as Smirnoff or McCormick...

Since vodka should have no taste or odor, all good vodkas should be practically identical. Shaq's brand would offer nothing but cachet & a higher price tag.

Doesn't sound appealing, and usually these celeb drinks are low end but expensive because of the name behind them. I'll stick to proven quality and higher shelves.

But it's not low perhaps a kid can use basketball to keep him or herself motivated to stay in school perhaps this kid is not that good but he or she love the game anyway and they attend class to play, at my high school you must maintain a 2.0 to play any sport I will take that vs the kid droping out. I will consider any sport to keep a child in school . So are they heroes? Yes to some kids they are especially for an inner city kid who has few options.

I am all about being the best that you can be in whatever endevor a person chooses to follow and i am also aware that not all kids like sports but for those who do, if it hepls them to stay in school I'm all in. You fail to understand the complexities of city life in our low income neighborhoods their is that that thug waiting to recruit our kids they fight that temtation everyday due to a lack of a parent or both poor living condidtions all of which are not the childs fault .

...I worked at a college for many years, and most athletes who are "college graduates" leave college STILL unable to read...(..remember, they aren't there to get an education..)

Who says they are not and what percentage of atheletes leave without being able to read ? And how do they get in in the first place? What school do you work at? I won't send any kids there if they are allowing kids to enter college with out being able to read and not improving their status apon leaving, to make matters worst taking thier money or the governments money and sending them back out after 4 years the same way they came in is definately clear case of BS? I belive that most athetes realize the risk of being injured could cost them a career also the percentage of being a potential draft pick is very low this leads me to belive that they know they need a back up plan therefore I belive most can read.
