"If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the
highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its
experienced patriots to prevent its ruin." --- Samuel Adams (1722-1803)
Pretty smart man that Sam Adams, it looks like he foresaw the coming of Barack Obama over 200 years ago! Makes a pretty damned good beer too!

What they don't realize is that technology may change but human nature never does. Our Founders had experienced all the forms of government and they knew what to guard against. "Vain and aspiring men" were around then and are here now, right in DC!

As for the cure, Adams seems to have nailed that one as well. Good luck with that, though, when taxpayers have been dutifully building the military industrial complex from hell for the last hundred years.
Are you sure you don't mean ROMNEY?????
But the current traitor in DC, and his anti-American agenda, and his accomplices in the "media",his ties to America's adversaries, most assuredly would have shocked even a prescient man like old Sam.
