Some people have no sense of humor and take things far too seriously. And then on top of it they are hypocrites. I often get blocked when I point out that conservatives are not conservative today as conservatives are suppose to have a respect for history and their past leaders. Today's republicans have none of this and are what I call phony conservatives.

I only block people when they send some rediculous response that is basically a rude response that has no moral ways of looking at it. The other day I was doing a topic on femanism and some chick basically gave me a response that blasted men for being "pigs", and there was no way to admire her veiw.

I have just quit responding when it is clear that I am arguing with a crazy person. If they become a stalker crazy person that gets vile and nasty enough....well then they get blocked. I have only had to do that a few times and its never a decision I make lightly, but there is a time when enough is enough.

Most people have 0-5 people blocked from what I hear, whereas some opinion blockers have hundreds of SHs blocked. For them it's not about abuse, it's about wanting their polls to say what THEY want them to, and not allowing dissenting opinions. When it comes to political polls, I think that's pretty shltty and dishonest.

A guy once threatened to block me for not joining in his little hate fest poll a couple years back. I basically said let me save you the trouble. I have one blocked that I will unblock after this coming election. Otherwise I would have been arguing with this person every day until then. One or two that I have blocked were deactivated....willingly or booted out of Sodahead I don't know. I have recently agreed with a person I have had heated discussions with here over the years and they friended me. Now that is a first and a welcome one I am proud of I must say.

Why do you care so much? I have been blocked by people I have not even spoken to. I laugh and move on. If someone did not agree with you in person and walked away from you, would you chase them?

What I don't understand is why you can not move on to another poll with another person who does not have you blocked? If they no longer want to talk to you why should they have to put up with what you have to say? You laugh at them and move on. Do a lot of people have you blocked on this site?

It's because blockers are wusses who can't hold their own in a debate. That's why most liberals are blocked by conservatives and vice versa.
