I love Jane Fonda! I loved her when she gave our anti-war group a pep talk in Venice Beach, CA in 1968.
I loved her courageous stance even when she was threatened by the welfare Queens of the US Military who love to play soldier, golf, eat like pigs and play with expensive multi million or multi Billion dollar toys, paid for by our tax dollars that could go to liberating us from the oil companies that run this country.
Sooner or later I predict the people of the USA will get tired of getting ripped off by the lying scumbag politicians of both bogus corporate cash marinated "parties" and the USA will no longer be able to afford their "Empire" and endless wars.
At over 70 years of age, this woman has not only a totally gorgeous to die for body, but a heart of gold!
I will always adore you Jane! You are a hero and inspiration to us all!

Whether someone supported the war or not is all irrevelant, the fact is that at the time we had tens of thousands of American men and women in Vietnam, whether they wanted to be there or not. It's not like these young men (mostly draftees) enjoyed killing, they went because they had to. So we have people like Jane aiding and supporting the people who were killing our young men. Bu providing inspiration to the enemy (exactly what they were needing and wanting) she is responsible for the deaths of thousands of young men. Unfortunately she's too self centered to lose any sleep over it. There are ways to protest a war, there are times to voice your opposition, but providing support to the enemy while your own people are being killed is not it. It will be a great day when she joins the "worm food" (those were American men and women by the way you disrespectful moron) she helped create by her actions.
I believe Kennedy did not want to be part of this anymore and that is why he was killed.
He was as sick of the power behind the throne as was his predecessor.

I have always admired women like Jane Fonda who are strong
and say things the way they are. Can Americans be so naive
to believe all the reasons our Government give us for going to

Soldiers don't get to pick the wars, they do what they have to do. Most men there were draftees, you don't hold it against them. Do you hold the garbage along the roads against the men who have to clean it up?
I just remember her father in 1972 (Henry Fonda) speaking in an interview that he did not support nor saw her as his daughter. In fact the last time Jane saw her father was on the set filming Golden Pond and even then her could not look her in the eyes, most shoot of them together in the movie were shoot separately.
My father is a Vietnam Vet, he went to Vietnam as a man but it was not until the late 1980's that it hit him of what he really went through. Understand this, the Vietnam War was not like the Gulf War one or two, not like Afghanistan, or Africa. The
enemy in Vietnam attached bombs to innocent children and women only to blow them up.

You see I learn from a young age as a military brat that if one solider disobeys his order, many die. I lost two cousins because of these conscientious objector who joined the military but once in a fight refused to pick up their rifles. 32 young American soldiers died because two refuse to protect them from behind.
I fought from your freedoms, my family has given lives for you to be free and raise your children without fear. For this I ask nothing of you but your respect for my personal thoughts. No matter how much you idolize Jane Fonda, you can never change the fact of what she had done. As a military family and ex military myself what Jane had done has no excuses. I stand by my thoughts and respectfully disagree with you as for her being a great person.
Is Jane Fonda pretty, for someone of her age she has done well. But I judge her not by looks but by whom I see her to be. For this Jane would never make it on my list.
