I have made some pretty amazing Pulitzer Prize deserving comments while on SodaHead. These words of wit and wisdom just flow from me like water down the mighty Mississippi. I don't track them very well, but if I did I am sure some didn't receive the "Rave" recognition that they deserve. In fact, believe it or not, I am willing to wager that a comment or two may have not have even received a complimentary "Participation Rave" by the originating Blogger!
Has this happened to you? Have you made an awe-inspiring comment that was not even acknowledged by the person who posted the question?
Please Rave this post to send a message to all those who have been enlightened by our words but did not have the courtesy to "Rave." And more importantly, to those Bloggers who do not display the common courtesy of providing a "Participation Rave" to those of us who deserve it.
Note: This is tongue-and-cheek and is dedicated to all the "Rave Whores" out there in SodaHead land.
Please DO NOT rave!
Only Invisible Raves will be accepted!

Yes, I have had a Brilliant comment or two go unrewarded...

But I sometimes think it would be nice to get more than the usual 3,5 to ten raves.
Sometime it depends on where you have your reply.
For example, if you are the very first to give a reply to a post, it seems that once it gets past the first page of peoples replies that other people visiting a post do not bother as much to look at all the other replies and being first sort of not gets look at as much.
That's just one reason I have noticed.
I have, what I think is a good reply right now on this post....

and it has only got two raves at the moment while another one above and not as good a reply is already ahead, making it now the top post...Oh well, I just enjoy trying to make people laugh, and If I can get one or two or more to laugh; then it's all good.
And at least I'm not a shallow learderbord freak
Friends, huh?
I had a looksee at your Comment and I can tell you why it has a dismal Rave count.
1. It is too long. Have you ever heard the saying "brevity is the soul of wit?"
2. The subject matter does not lend itself to your style of humor. The question begs for a crass retort. You, on the other hand, legitimized the question then proceeded to satirize it. The length, coupled with the subject matter and brand of humor made it an uncomfortable read.
I gave you a "Participation Rave" on the Comment because you tried hard. Liken it to a "Participation Trophy." Although I don't agree with your conclusion, I gave you a "Deserved Rave" on this Comment. I just don't accept that earlier Comments don't get as many Raves.
I left my own Comment on the Post you referenced in case you wanted to see how is should have been answered:)

I raved this post, because I always rave posts I answer, unless I think it's an obnoxious one; you can't stop me!!!
You are very observant. I wish I could remember stuff like you do. I sometimes feel like 10 Second Tom (from 50 First Dates) when it comes to avatars and their Raves. I agree with you about giving out Complementary Raves:)
Thanks....
I do notice, though, when SH's ask questions, and don't acknowledge the answers they get in any way. Also, if you really like a question, raving it helps that submission remain visible.
This is now a self facepalm moment..

I am going to be on the lookout for your comments from now on to make sure they get the attention they deserve:)
