American sports radio talk show host and television commentator, Mike Francesa, took a sweet little snooze Wednesday -- in the middle of a live, on-air interview. And at the :53 second mark, magic happens: he wakes up. Donning a look of complete and utter bewilderment, Francesa snaps in alarm after Murti says his name. Have you ever napped in an inappropriate place?

Mike Francesa, the polarizing American sports radio talk show host and television commentator, had a nice catnap today. Unfortunately for him, it was while he was on air.

Driving home from work after a double shift 3pm till 7am,warm sun flooded my car lulling me to sleep on the interstate. I learned an important lesson that day,coffee,loud music,windows down,does not substitute for the real thing,pull over for a nap even if you are close to your destination.

(and I've learned to nap on the run .. but then again .. a Military Career teaches you to nap when you can .. )

I have fallen asleep at parties in movies in libraries etc.. But the worst place I dozed was after several days of mandatory overtime I was sooo tired that on a long straight section of highway I actually thought it was ok to close eyes and nap for a bit ...I woke as my car crossed the rumble strip ....

No, I never nap unless I'm sick. It interferes with my sleep at night. I have NEVER napped while working. Not in my job description.

Not that I can think of. If I ever napped in school it was on days the teachers were lazy and had us watch a movie not related to the subject.

Can't say an inappropriate place but feel asleep many times listening to Fat Mike telling us all how much he loves the overpaid Yankees, Knicks and Rangers. And, oh by the way he hates the Jets too....stopped listening to him a long time ago.

When I was pregnant and going through the "exhausted all the time" phase I fell asleep on one of the beds at the B&B; I work at.

Also in my post-21st birthday haze I fell asleep on a 5 AM drive home from a friend's party. A telephone poll rudely interrupted my slumber. Car limped home never to start again. That was my "wake up call" to think a little before getting behind the wheel.

I was in a stage play and while on stage I would be sound asleep between the times when I had to give my lines. I would wake up and give a line then as soon as I had given it I would go back to sleep. It worked great for the entire run of the show, which ran for a week, and I got the rest that I needed.
