Quite some time ago, a friend of our family's called my mum some rude things. Is their a way I can threaten that person?

They were having a fight. You know, my family against theirs. I want to end this so called "war" between us. Is their a way I can threaten that family to tell them to hold onto their tongues. While they still have one.

forget about making threats - that usually just exacerbates things. if your families are/were close, just have a candid conversation with one of the adults and tell him/her that the rude remarks were very hurtful to your family and that you wish the two sides could make peace.reply -
