While I love cats, I just find puppies/dog to be far more social and friendly. Cats are incredibly intriguing, though. They are a blast to watch. They scheme, and watching them silently carry out their evil plans can be fantastic. They're fun, but ultimately, I find dogs to be a bit more pleasant. I desperately want a puppy.
haha that sounds a lot like me :P :) though I've met a few lap cats recently which are very friendly and I have liked :) (by lap cats I mean love to be petted... even if they like going outdoors and running around chasing stuff) :P :)
and kittens...i have two puppies...and one of my roommates have two cats...all of them are very affectionate and love to cuddle...sometime its impossible to do anything on the internet cause there like four animals fighting to get in your lap O.o but there soooooo cute:)
I have two kitties and a dog. My dog is very independent and wants to be outside all day. He'll let you pet him but when he's had enough, off he goes. My kitties on the other hand are very affectionate and they love to snuggle. I love all three pets but the kitties are way more affectionate than my dog.
That seems backwards to me >.< Guess it just goes to show each animal/pet is their own. Of all the pets I had while growing up it was the cats that acted independent and didn't care about you until it was feeding time, and it was the dogs that greeted you at the door when you got home, and stood by you when strangers came to the house, so they could protect you if need be.
Well, that's what I kind of expected when we adopted our dog but he really is independent. I guess they all have their own personalities. He's a good dog, he obeys commands and loves to be petted and then he's off to the backyard. I wouldn't rely on him for protection that's for sure.
I think I got spoiled on Dudley...He was my best friend growing up. My dad found him on the side of the road beat almost to within an inch of his life He was very protective of me and my brothers and I've never had a cat act as such
The more, the merrier.
