In a recent poll, people were asked if they celebrate Christmas, and the results are in!
Overall:
88% of the voters said "Yes I celebrate Christmas"
12% said, "No I do not celebrate Christmas."
Age:
Almost every age group is celebrating Christmas in the 88+% region, except for 25-34 year olds at 71% and 45-54 year olds at 78%. Highest rates of participation were in the 35-44 and 65+ segments.
Politics:
Moderates and Libertarians were tied for being the most Christmas-friendly groups both with 100% participation in celebrating Christmas. Which political segment is the most Grinchy? Apathetic voters win that high praise with a whopping 50% who just say no to celebrating Christmas!
Religion:
Unknown, Hindu, and Buddhists said they celebrate Christmas 100%, Christians are in 4th place with 97%, followed by "other" 92%, Agnostics 78% and the majority of Atheists, 70%, who celebrate Christmas.
